About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for its Global Supply Chain. The successful candidate will be the lead attorney for the Global Supply Chain Function, providing legal support and advice on a wide range of matters, including direct and indirect procurement contracts, logistics, and supplier negotiations and disputes. This role requires a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience, with a focus on manufacturing, corporate contract negotiation, procurement, distribution, trade compliance, and supply chain law. Experience in IT (SaaS) related matters is also highly valued. The Assistant General Counsel will be a key partner to the commercial teams and other corporate functions, and will be expected to have a strong background in cross-functional legal efforts, particularly in the areas of quality, trade compliance, environmental compliance, and safety and employment matters.The ideal candidate will have a background in in-house legal work with global clients and be familiar with IT (SaaS) contracts and basic IT governance legal considerations. The role involves regular interaction with senior leaders and requires a strategic approach to legal guidance. The Assistant General Counsel will be part of a dynamic, hybrid work environment and should be prepared to spend a significant portion of their time in the office. This is a national search, and the position is based in the United States.
