You'll work in our Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington, D.C., New Jersey or New York office as part of our Legal Department. The Legal Department is a diverse and dynamic team within our firm, providing comprehensive legal services to our firm's leadership, consultants, and support staff throughout the world.
You will report to the Managing Counsel of the Dedicated Practice Counsel team, interacting with our client-serving professionals supporting the Healthcare Practice and working closely with other Legal teams, as well as colleagues in our Risk, Compliance, and other functions within McKinsey.
McKinsey's Healthcare Practice serves leading private and public healthcare institutions to identify innovative ways to tackle today's biggest healthcare challenges. We are at the forefront of making healthcare better, more affordable, and more accessible for millions of people around the world. This AGC role primarily involves advising and supporting McKinsey's consultant serving Healthcare clients in North America.
This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including:
You will be expected to work with colleagues on projects supporting broader McKinsey and Legal Department specific initiatives, such as contributing to knowledge sharing by developing reference materials, trainings, and playbooks.

For new joiners for this role in the United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, a reasonable estimated range is $256,000 - $341,000 USD to help you understand what you can expect. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest salary/hourly wages for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date, and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
