We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bank Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate daily reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining smooth operations across cash and position management. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of the syndicated loan market, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash and positions by established deadlines.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies using internal systems, agent notifications, public information, and trustee records.
- Serve as the primary liaison with custodians, trustees, agent banks, and seller banks to address and resolve cash discrepancies.
- Escalate unresolved issues through verbal or written communication channels.
- Track issue resolution, conduct root cause analyses, and identify gaps in controls to mitigate future discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to complete internal tasks and meet organizational goals.
- Document process requirements and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Contribute to special projects or ad hoc tasks as assigned.
- Provide backup support to other team members when necessary.
Your Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of post-graduate work experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Solid understanding of the broadly syndicated loan market is required .
- Experience with Wall Street Office (WSO) is required .
- Background in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proven quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
