Building Engineer
Role:
Manager for hands-on preventative maintenance, managing services, and service level agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Mix of administrative and physical engineering services.
- Experience with Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
- Oversee preventative maintenance orders and online ordering (e.g., through Grainger).
- Coordinate corrective maintenance and day-to-day maintenance.
- Assist with environmental reporting and coordinate schedules for annual shutdowns.
- Manage work order tickets and test fire alarm systems.
- Ensure third-party vendors download documents appropriately.
- Potential requirements to work nights or weekends during outages (OT might be at the Chattum facility, not remote).
Preferred Experience:
- Companies similar to Hines, Able Engineering, Jones Lang.
- Corporate campus or multi-tenant building background.
- Data center/data room experience.
- Automated work order system experience.
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Facility management certifications are helpful.
