Business Development Manager – (Brokerage/TL Sales)
Job Description
UC Group is looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager - Brokerage, with a hunter mentality. This role will target new business development, primarily targeting growth for our in house brokerage, with a secondary target to grow our retail LTL consolidation sector. This role will be charged with establishing new relationships and opportunities to generate revenue growth. If you are a problem solver of client pain-points and you develop sales strategies to alleviate them, then this opportunity is for you.
What will you be responsible for?
You will lead the sales effort coordinating new business development, while working internally with operations and pricing. You will be responsible for developing and executing action plans that will lead to new business. You will prospect and understand the business challenges of today within the logistics sector and build upon opportunities that align not only with immediate revenue, but mid and long term as well.
