Position Overview:
Navistar is looking to add a Business Intel Consultant-Warranty to their team in Lisle iL!
The Business Intel Consultant-Warranty will maintain and develop various analytical tools to assist in finance/operational forecasts and variance analysis across multiple performance measures/KPIs and business units for monthly results and historical trends analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Drive process efficiency through standardization and automation in an iterative manner as partners learn and grow
- Tools include warranty CPU modeling, warranty spend analysis and estimates, ESC revenue amortization, ESC profitability
- Tools to be developed cross functionally with Warranty FP&A, Warranty accounting, Warranty Operations, Customer Solutions and in some cases Data Analytics to create capabilities for a wide customer base using IT supported and controlled applications where possible
- Create data visualizations and KPIs to summarize the data insights and employ clear and structured communication to tech and non-tech audiences
- Develop reusable and robust analytic frameworks to ensure consistent results across business areas
- Develop insights into Extended Service Contract profitability for new products and existing to guide pricing, discounting, as well as prioritize organizational resources on Cost Per Repair and Failure Rate improvements to provide the most financial benefit
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- At least 5 years of analytics, business intelligence, strategy or forecasting experience
OR
- Masters degree
- At least 3 years of analytics, business intelligence, strategy or forecasting experience
OR
- At least 7 years of analytics, business intelligence, strategy or forecasting experience
Additional Requirements:
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. - A degree or proven experience in Finance, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to provide clear, concise explanations of complex problems to all levels of management

- Data extraction, cleansing, manipulation, and generation using SQL
- Application of statistical methods
- Data visualization experience (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Broad business knowledge, organizational awareness, and an understanding of business profitability drivers
- Proven analytic and quantitative decision-making skills
- A strong aptitude for identifying, designing, and implementing improvements to existing processes
- Adept project management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
