Job Description:
The Buyer/Supply Chain/Procurement Specialist manages the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and finished goods for medical and pharmaceutical production. The role ensures an efficient, cost-effective supply chain while complying with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement: Source, negotiate, and purchase materials; manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with logistics teams to improve delivery schedules, inventory management, and cost efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with FDA, EMA, and ISO regulations.
Cost & Inventory Management: Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
Supplier Collaboration: Build relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
0-2 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain within the medical or pharma industry.
Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, and other industry regulations.
Proficient in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
Supply chain certifications (APICS, CIPS).
Global sourcing and international logistics experience.
