Hyatt seeks an experienced Cloud Solution Architect who will be an exceptional addition to our growing Data Platform Architecture team. The Cloud Solution Architect will work closely with data science, data product managers and data engineering teams to meet data and data product requirements of various initiatives in Hyatt. The Role

As a Cloud Solution Architect for AI Platforms, you will play a critical role in enabling Hyatt to leverage AI/ML technologies effectively by designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of both cloud and AI/ML technologies.

1. Provide expert guidance to projects to ensure that their processes and deliverables align with the Hyatt target state architecture.
2. Design scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures for AI/ML applications.
3. Develop end-to-end solutions that include data ingestion, processing, storage, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
4. Implement cloud-native solutions using services from cloud providers like AWS or Google Cloud.
5. Integrate AI/ML solutions with existing enterprise systems and data sources.
6. Implement solutions for data ingestion, data delivery, and ML pipelines.
7. Build resilient, reliable, performant, and secure Data Platforms and Applications.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

1. 6+ years of experience within the field of application/platform engineering or related technical work including business intelligence, and analytics.
2. 6+ years of experience with AWS Senior Cloud Data Engineering, management, maintenance, or architecting.
3. Strong knowledge and established experience with AWS services.
4. Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or similar.
5. Experience with DB technologies, programming, and scripting (e.g., SQL, Python).
6. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

Education & Special Skills:

• BA or BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong verbal and oral communication.

The salary range for this position is $122,000 to $165,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus.
