Director of Warehouse Operations

LaSalle Network is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Warehouse Operations to lead and elevate our client's warehouse operations to World Class standards. This pivotal role involves strategic oversight and tactical management of daily warehouse activities, including scheduling, real-time operations and productivity standards.
The ideal candidate will excel in maximizing resources, achieving customer satisfaction and driving economic goals through effective leadership and process improvements.
Director of Warehouse Operations Responsibilities:

• Oversee warehouse personnel, set strategic direction and initiate process improvements
• Lead employee relations through effective communication, training and development
• Enhance customer satisfaction while optimizing manpower and material efficiency
• Resolve operational issues and foster improved working relationships
• Participate in planning processes and standardize procedures across facilities
• Recruit, hire and manage staff to ensure smooth operational flow
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance efficiency and teamwork
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards and safety regulations
• Develop and implement contingency plans, troubleshoot problems and analyze solutions
• Maintain a positive work environment to maximize morale, productivity and effectiveness
• Set performance standards and review progress of personnel

Director of Warehouse Operations Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in forecasting, scheduling and real-time operations management
• Proven experience in supervision, staff development and equipment management
• Ability to manage multiple warehouse locations and implement safety programs
• Experience with implementation or integration of a WMS system
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
