Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization. Develop orientation materials and facilitate training sessions to acclimate new employees.
- Talent Acquisition: Implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and streamline the hiring process.
- Employee Development: Support career progression and performance management initiatives to boost employee engagement and retention.
- Benefits and Compensation Administration: Help administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives; provide administrative payroll support
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing workplace concerns and promoting a positive, inclusive culture.
- Risk and Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulatory requirements (Federal, State, Local) and company policies including company licensing and training requirements.
- HR System Administration: Administer HR information systems, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance. Assist with system implementations or upgrades to optimize workflows and facilitate the smooth application of HR transactions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of general HR experience to include onboarding, talent acquisition, employee development, benefits administration, compliance and employee relations.
- Experience with benefits and payroll administration required.
- Experience with full cycle talent acquisition preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations required.
- Experience serving a multi-state organization a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience with HRIS and workflow automation tools preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
