IT Finance ERP Solution Architect

Position Overview:

Navistar is looking for an IT Finance ERP Solution Architect to support our Digital Transformation Journey.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in SAP FICO and Infor ERP LN/Baan financial modules. This role requires a deep understanding of finance operations within a manufacturing environment, combined with expertise in ERP system design and implementation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in agile methodologies and capable of determining and structuring company financial processes within an ERP system. Familiarity with additional ERP systems such as Peoplesoft is a plus, though not mandatory.

This position can be onsite at any one of the three locations:

• Lisle, IL
• San Antonio, TX
• Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities:

• Conducts analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Baan, PeopleSoft) across functional areas with focus on finance operations for a manufacturing facility.
• Plans and directs studies of potential electronic data processing applications and prepares design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs of the corporation.
• Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
• Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
• Coordinates system upgrade activity.
• Trains user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.
• Organizing the workload of a team for day-to-day support activities or project assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• At least 5 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications

OR

• Masters degree
• At least 3 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications

OR

• At least 7 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications

Additional Requirements:

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills:

• 5+ years of combined business analysis experience with SAP FICO and Infor ERP LN/Baan financial modules.
• Working knowledge of finance operations in a manufacturing facility.
• Working knowledge of agile methodology.
• Experience designing and determine company structure within an ERP.
• Experience in other ERPs (e.g. Peoplesoft) is desirable, but not required.
