Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Network Analyst who has or has recently obtained their CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification. The ideal candidate is eager to further their career by pursuing a CCNP/CCIE certification and has a strong passion for networking. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in network automation and a desire to develop their skills in Terraform, Ansible, and Python.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Please note that this position requires travel approximately 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network operation and minimal downtime.
3. Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as firmware updates, configuration backups, and security patches.
4. Collaborate with senior network engineers to develop and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
5. Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
6. Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
7. Participate in network-related projects and initiatives, contributing to the planning, execution, and successful completion of tasks.
8. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking.
9. Travel to various client sites and company locations as required, approximately 50% of the time.

Qualifications:

1. Currently working towards or recently obtained a CCNA certification.
2. Strong desire to pursue a CCNP/CCIE certification and advance in the field of networking.
3. Strong desire in network automation and a desire to develop their skills in Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
4. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and subnetting.
5. Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for networking and technology.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
