W2 Only

Hybrid to the northern Suburbs of Chicago (3 days a week onsite)


Job Description: The Agile Product Owner is pivotal in delivering new products and driving innovation on platforms that enhance customer experience, meet customer needs, and create business value. This role focuses on prioritizing the team's work to deliver maximum value to the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and prioritize the product backlog to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring it is continuously updated.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support go-to-market strategies.
  • Translate regulatory and contractual requirements into use cases, agile stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure compliance.
  • Create and validate user story acceptance criteria.
  • Break down work into multiple iterations to deliver continuous value, with each iteration building on the previous one.
  • Inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration.
  • Maintain key product documentation, including customer journey maps, technical specifications, and process mapping.
  • Ensure product features and processes align with applicable regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards.
  • Adhere to the highest quality standards, including releasing security patches not linked to customers.
  • Contribute to product development and vision by connecting customer solutions to business goals.
  • Work with Data Stewards in respective Lines of Business (LOBs) to ensure required data quality controls are identified and implemented.
  • Manage and communicate scope, deliverables, and timelines of projects through storyboarding and structuring complex information visually.
  • Lead Agile practices, including sprints, planning, execution, and retrospectives. Hold meetings with the product team to continuously update the product backlog.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Agile Coaching, Release Train Engineering, or Scrum Master roles.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA.
  • Proficiency in LucidChart.
  • Familiarity with Miro.
