Job Description
  • Develop and implement quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Oversee daily quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and measurement processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and products to identify improvements and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train and mentor quality control personnel on quality assurance procedures, product specifications, and measurement techniques.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to define quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards and certifications.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in quality control practices, incorporating best practices into the organization.

The Successful Applicant
  • Machining and job shop background
  • Gage calibration experience
  • ERP experience
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
