Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Release Manager with a solid background in software development and hands-on experience in release management. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of release management experience, a strong understanding of CI/CD processes, and preferred experience in tools like Bitbucket and Jenkins. Effective communication and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential to ensuring the smooth delivery of software releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the end-to-end release process for software deployments.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Jenkins.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure timely and successful releases.
- Track release progress, manage risks, and communicate release status to stakeholders.
- Document and enforce release management processes in Jira and Confluence.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to release deployment and configuration.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in release management.
- Strong software development background with an understanding of development lifecycles.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins).
- Excellent proactive communication and collaboration skills.
