Job Title: School Nurse

Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Nurse for SY 24-25. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our students and staff, ensuring a safe and supportive school environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide healthcare services, including first aid, illness assessments, and emergency care, to students and staff.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for students with chronic health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments, including vision, hearing, and immunization compliance checks.
- Respond to and manage health-related emergencies and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement
- Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community health nursing
