• Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously and consistently producing accurate and “client-ready” work
• Absolute adherence to strict confidentiality and privacy considerations

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting workpapers in accordance with US GAAP and/or other bases of accounting for a variety of clients, with focus on the real estate and investment industries
• Develop and/or improve accounting and reporting process for clients
• Identify, understand, and implement accounting and other reporting software for clients
• Develop relationships with clients, while becoming a main point of contact
• Advise clients on accounting and general business practices
• Preparation and review of payables associated with client operations
• Perform monthly reconciliations to bank statements and other relevant source documents
• Review expense classifications for reasonableness
• Reconcile and settle accounts between related client entities
• Work within a team to ensure client expectations are met
• Communicate exceptions to supervisors, managers, and department head as applicable
• Contribute to the growth of the department by participating in project work
