The Role

The Senior Analyst of Hotel Analytics will be responsible for supporting the financial and operational performance of our hotels within the Americas. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and deploying extensive data sets to derive meaningful insights, aid the development of strategies for improvement, and assist in effectively communicating these plans to a wide range of stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Interpret Key Financial and Operating Performance Indicators, financial statements, and hotel reports to generate actionable insights
  2. Perform monthly analyses of each hotel’s financial and operational results to identify trends, opportunities, and strategies for maximizing financial performance and return on investment
  3. Support Regional Manager(s) Hotel Analytics in communicating financial results and performance opportunities clearly and effectively
  4. Prepare monthly and ad hoc analyses and research to support organizational inquiries and decision-making
  5. Support the Regional Manager(s) of Hotel Analytics in liaising with several above-property and corporate groups
  6. Support initiatives that enhance financial management, increase productivity, and improve customer experiences across the portfolio
  7. Assist in preparing the SVP/VP of Field Operations for hotel site visits
  8. Support annual regional budget process through analysis of prepared budgets
  9. Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt's core values

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  1. 3-5 years of Hotel Operational or Finance experience
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality (preferred)
  3. Strong financial systems experience including Hyperion/Essbase and Excel advanced proficiency are critical
  4. Strong PC skills with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
