Software Engineer Specialist for FIS Global Network
Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer, you could work with leading edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks, and invests.
- This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups, and training clients on applications.
- This advanced suite of solutions brings together FIS Funds, FIS Securities, and FIS Short-term Cash Management, helping you achieve straight-through processing among brokers, fund companies, and investor recordkeeping and accounting systems.
- Designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements.
- Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
- Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
- Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams.
Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience with backend development.
- Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
- Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations, and operations.
- Strong experience in C#.
- Strong experience in ASP.NET.
- Strong in OOP concepts and multithreading.
- Strong SQL Skills (Microsoft SQL Server).
- A Bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science, or other related discipline or equivalent experience.

- The pay range for this full-time position is $127,440.00 - $214,100.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.
