RubinBrown LLP is seeking accountants to prepare and/or review tax returns during our busy season (February through April 2024).

TAX OR ACCOUNTING BACKGROUND IS REQUIRED!

The responsibilities of a Tax Season Only Preparer/Reviewer in Tax Consulting include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare/Review income tax returns for our clients
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in the use of various software programs required

All hired individuals will receive training on how to prepare/review returns in our tax software/systems.

Ability to commit to set schedule/hours per week is highly desired (overtime likely). Day, evening, and weekend hours are available.

Preferred Experience/Background/Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree
  • CPA preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience is preferred
  • Prior public accounting experience is preferred
  • Prior income tax preparation, including partnerships, corporations, and individuals is preferred
  • Reviewer level experience is preferred
  • Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in a technology environment
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership capabilities
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to meet challenging client requirements and provide quality client service
  • Utilize analytical and research abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required)
  • Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strict adherence to professional ethics
  • Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm
