Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Sr. Data Engineer in our Central Pricing & Analytics team.
We are revolutionizing how Sompo underwrites and prices risk, developing pricing and underwriting risk assessment tools on a digital platform powered by HX renew. We are looking for an experienced and collaborative data engineer to significantly contribute to the development and execution of the Global Pricing Team's data strategy. The role involves creating and maintaining a well-organized data layer that provides the organization with access to clean and structured data sets. Additionally, the data engineer will be responsible for developing automated solutions and incorporating analytics into production applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in data engineering within an analytics-driven environment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives that support data-driven innovation in pricing.
Location: The Central Pricing & Analytics Team is a global team and this role can be based out of any Sompo office location. We strive for collaboration which is why we offer a work environment where our employees thrive and develop long lasting careers.
$140,000 – $190,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
