Sr Data Visualization Designer at a glance

The Data Visualization Designer is responsible for helping to create a world-class data, insights and analytics practice as we transform the ways that team members from across the org leverage data to propel our business into the next stage of hyper-growth. Defining the data visualization standards to support complex dashboards, multi-layered reports, analytics and insights cards, AI and ML patterns and large screen visualization display are all within the scope of this role.

What's on the menu?

1. Establish data viz design system, patterns and frameworks.
2. Create hi-fidelity screen designs and mock-ups (Figma) in partnership with the UX team to hand off to Product and Engineering for development.
3. Embrace the Agile mindset to deliver rapidly and continuously.
4. Lead formal usability testing sessions (on-site and remote).
5. Conduct user research by using and/or creating personas, behavioral archetypes, site maps, user flows, user interviews, card sorting, hero journeys, competitive audits and market research.
6. Demonstrate excellence in presenting designs and defending solutions with technical and non-technical audiences.

2. I am capable of verbally defending and compromising on design solutions, embracing an agile, iterative approach to excellence when necessary.
3. I demonstrate the capacity to empathize with users.
4. I possess a keen business sense in understanding the balance between perfection and deployment obligations.
5. I have the ability to solution across devices, frameworks, platforms, responsive states etc.
6. I have expertise working within and contributing to design systems that consistently scale across platforms.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
