Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst will join our growing team working on a variety of client infrastructure and support projects.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and/or networking issues by conducting tests, analyzing the problem, and providing suggestions for solutions.
• Install new hardware systems, Operating system, and software upgrades.
• Provide technical and/or operational training as needed.
• Document hardware configuration information, software configuration administration, network performance, and network layouts on a regular basis.
• When necessary, travel to the Clients’ offices or server locations for onsite duties.
• Flexible to do night and/or weekend work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and/or relevant work experience required
• Windows Active Directory Domain Services experience
• Server BCDR experience (virtual and physical)
• ESXi and Hyper-V experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Server Support Analyst or Server Engineer
• Print and file server configuration, file permission application and securities (Windows server)
• Strong understanding of server infrastructure and server hardware
• A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, and controllers
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
• Experience with Veeam required
• AWS or Azure Cloud computing experience is a plus
• Network security experience a plus
