MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce purchasing requisitions as per established standards based on feedback from engineering staff and supervisors.
- Source vendors based on existing service agreements, previous purchases or find new vendors to satisfy quality needs at the lowest possible cost.
- Use “Espresso” inventory module to set up order information for:
- Attic Stock
- InterCare Supplies
- MEP Supplies
- Customer Service Supplies
- Par Stock Levels
- New Material Inventory Update
- Receive ordered goods on the loading dock and deposit materials at designated storage locations.
- Return improperly delivered or faulty materials to vendor.
- Set up detailed inventory for consumable items such as filters, bulbs, paint, etc.
- Prepare inventory for critical systems parts that will impact operational service conditions.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, including any department-specific training regarding equipment and procedures.
- Perform other duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned.
Computer Data Management / Predictive Maintenance:
- Perform data entry for Guest Room, Public Areas, Back of House predictive maintenance program as per InterContinental established standards.
- Complete required documentation for InterContinental engineering standards.
- Collect data for energy management program as directed by Chief Engineer.
- Create weekly/monthly reports as per established formats to evaluate performance of predictive maintenance programs.
- Work closely with the supervisors and take lead on data entry and report generation for established engineering programs.
- Plan material purchases in relation to predictive maintenance programs and special projects as directed by supervisors and Chief Engineer.
- Establish and maintain equipment inventories for MEP systems as a base for the Espresso predictive maintenance program.

- Capability to answer all phone calls using the proper phone etiquette of Hotel InterContinental Standards.

- Ability to focus attention on details.
- Must be able to maintain a highly positive and friendly image that will reflect well on the hotel's overall appearance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must be conscious of cultural differences.
Salary Range: $23.75 to $26.25. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
Benefits: Local 399 Benefit package includes funeral leave up to a maximum of 3 workdays, jury duty, 7 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid personal days, pension plan/health and welfare benefits/education included as part of employer-sponsored contract article, optional employee contribution plans to FED PAC and deferred compensation, and vacation.
