We are dedicated to fostering an environment that prioritizes the wellbeing of our students in every aspect of their lives—spiritually, academically, emotionally, financially, and professionally.

We seek an innovative and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. This dynamic role will drive the financial sustainability of the college while championing forward-thinking solutions that challenge the traditional reliance on student loan debt and support our mission to create new economic models for education.

Position Overview:

The CFO will play a key role in shaping Trinity’s future, providing visionary leadership in the management of finances and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will work closely with the college’s senior leadership, faculty, staff, and community partners to craft innovative financial strategies that support the college’s mission of accessible and holistic education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, investment, and resource allocation. Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and risk management to ensure the college remains financially sound and can continue to invest in innovative programs and student support.
  • Innovative Economic Models: Develop and implement financial strategies that reduce the college’s dependence on student loan debt. Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and community partners to design creative solutions that make education more accessible and affordable for students.
  • Student-Centered Financial Planning: Ensure that financial models support the college’s emphasis on holistic student wellbeing, balancing educational affordability with a focus on personal, spiritual, and professional development.
  • Community and Employer Partnerships: Support the economic modeling that drives partnerships of mutual benefit with local employers, industry leaders, and community organizations to enhance opportunities for student internships, employment, and career development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a key member of the college’s executive leadership team, collaborating with academic affairs, student life, advancement, admissions, athletics, and all administrative departments.
  • Ethical Stewardship: Uphold the college’s Christian values in all financial decision-making processes. Serve as a model of ethical stewardship and responsible resource management.
  • Supervision of Campus Leaders: Supervise the Business Office and its leaders, along with other campus administrative areas, pending experience and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in higher education or non-profit sectors.
  • A deep commitment to the values of Christian education and the holistic development of students.
  • Strong knowledge of innovative economic models, including alternative financing solutions for higher education.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred; a CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Why Trinity?

  • Work in a supportive, mission-driven environment focused on creating long-term, sustainable solutions for the future of higher education.
  • Contribute to the transformation of higher education by developing innovative financial models.
  • Be part of a vibrant Christian community that values faith, service, and excellence in education.
  • Opportunity to shape and direct the financial future of a forward-thinking institution.

If you are a visionary financial leader with a passion for creating sustainable solutions in higher education, we encourage you to apply and join us in shaping the future of Trinity and its students.
