We are seeking a Vice President Strategy & Planning for our Credit Risk Solutions Team. The Strategy & Planning role at TransUnion is accountable for corporate reporting for the line of business, strategic projects focused on effective organizational design, operational excellence, cross-functional process improvements, and business planning initiatives.

This leader will be responsible for developing long-term, solution-driven strategies to meet TransUnion’s growth and profitability objectives, as well as driving business analytics and insights globally across credit risk solutions. They will be primarily focused on building and stewarding the implementation of the Credit Risk Solutions overall strategic 3-year plan, revenue forecasts, and corporate (Board, CEO) reporting.

The role will need to keep abreast of emerging technologies, data, and customer use cases across products, verticals, and regions in order to look for connections, threats, and opportunities for Credit Risk Solutions. Using that insight, the role integrates, stress-tests, and helps develop multi-year strategic growth initiatives. The role is also responsible for developing and/or reviewing business cases and financial models, which support associated investments and quantify the value delivered by the strategies.

We'd love to see:

  • 15+ years of experience in the credit and/or analytics space; 6+ years at a consulting firm.
  • Experience in strategic planning and leading large programs and initiatives from your days as a strategic consultant or business executive.
  • Experience in scaling teams and driving significant growth for a variety of organizations.
  • Ability to create partnerships in matrix organizations.
  • Motivational skills to encourage people to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to manage through change and ambiguity to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Experience in M&A transformation and partnerships processes from diligence to integrations activities.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Build and steward the global CRS prioritization processes and the development of the strategic 3-year plan.
  • Coordinate the development of the Credit Risk Solutions forecasts across global teams, including facilitating the engagement with Markets partners to debate, refine, and finalize the financial plans and identify key areas of investment needed.
  • Develop and manage processes and coordination of strategy and planning activities across Credit Risk Solutions, which includes monthly business reviews and other corporate reporting such as Board presentations, Town Hall presentations, CEO reviews, and quarterly cross-functional business reviews.
  • Support the execution of selected Credit Risk Solutions strategy projects, collaborating with relevant functional leaders to create and maintain plans that have clear and measurable targets while tracking and reporting progress against business growth plans.
  • Oversee M&A diligence and integrations activities for Credit Risk Solutions, along with tracking progress and leading engagements on any minority investments.
  • Gather market intelligence on macro-economic and industry trends, consumer behaviors, regulatory changes and hurdles, disruptive innovations, and competitive offerings to validate and refine our product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information: The U.S. base salary range for this position is $193,500.00 - $300,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, full-time non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
