Job Summary

Responsible for oversight and management of Program Managers and the Program Management Office (PMO). Effectively oversees Program Management Office in delivering programs on time and on budget, including resource allocation. Contributes to creating budget and ensures budget adherence. Contributes to business strategy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Coordinates with the product teams to ensure successful launch of programs and products across Enterprise and SMB.
  • Act as liaison between Product and Operations teams to launch new programs.
  • Drive automation and tools efficiencies where possible: Consider opportunities for systems impacts and/or automation opportunities on projects.
  • Provides leadership and management to the Program Management team. Possesses staffing accountability, including recruitment and retention, hiring & firing, leadership and professional development and performance management.
  • Provides support for corporate budgeting and budget tracking.
  • Recommends and implements corrective action with the Program Management Office (PMO), as necessary, to improve performance.
  • Trains, hires and develops PMO staff. Has performance management responsibilities. Responsible for staff performance and salary and bonus administration.
  • Develops and maintains performance metrics to make informed recommendations for strategic decision making.
  • Keeps abreast of new developments in project management methodologies, agile practices, best practices and industry standards.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $111,930.72 - $167,896.08. This job can be performed in Illinois with a Pay Range of $106,842.96 - $167,896.08.

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.

Education: Bachelor's Degree. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Relative Work Experience: 5-7 Years
